AI-Thinker EC-01 (800-Reel) Narrowband Module is a GrowGuard-compatible component for monitoring with a sensor for soil moisture, pH, EC and irrigation decisions in precision agriculture, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. In GrowGuard, these readings can be tracked historically and converted into alerts for irrigation, salt build-up, unsuitable pH or differences between zones in the same crop. Relevant parameters and capabilities: NB-IoT / LTE-M, Temperature, EC. Technical description in short: EC-01 is a NB module developed by Ai-Thinker. The main chip scheme adopted by the NB part is EC616S. The chip has an ultra-highly integrated NB-IoT SoC, supports ultra-low power consumption, and fully supports the 3GPP Rel14 NB-IoT standard. It is an ultra-high cost-effective NB-IoT chip. It has the following characteristics: Integrated RF transceiver, PA, RF filter, antenna switch and power management. Excellent. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
