Dragino DLOS8N-EU868-EC25-E, Open-Source Outdoor LoRaWAN Gateway with 4G LTE is a GrowGuard-compatible component for infrastructure using a LoRaWAN gateway for agricultural sensors, greenhouse monitoring and IoT infrastructure, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. The right gateway affects coverage, stability and the number of devices that can send data reliably. In GrowGuard projects it becomes the central point for readings, alerts and zone monitoring. Relevant parameters and capabilities: LoRaWAN, Gateway, 4G/LTE backhaul, Wi-Fi, Ethernet / PoE, GPS. Technical description in short: The DLOS8N-EU868-EC25-E is an open-source outdoor LoRaWAN gateway that bridges a wireless LoRa network to an IP network via WiFi, Ethernet, or cellular. At its core is a Semtech SX1302 concentrator, which enables extremely long range at low data rates and is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. The integrated 4G LTE modem (Quectel EC25-E) for EMEA frequency bands serves as the primary or backup internet. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
