In GrowGuard, these readings can be tracked historically and converted into alerts for irrigation, salt build-up, unsuitable pH or differences between zones in the same crop. Technical description in short: The Dragino GroPoint is a LoRaWAN Multi Soil Segment Converter designed for IoT applications in agriculture. It connects to the GroPoint Profile Multi-depth Soil Moisture and Temperature Profile Sensor to collect readings and send them to an IoT server via the LoRaWAN wireless network. Key Features: Designed to connect with the GroPoint Profile sensor for soil moisture and temperature monitoring. Plug-and-play. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
