Dragino MDS120-LB-EU868 Microwave Radar Distance Sensor is a GrowGuard-compatible component for monitoring with a sensor for smart irrigation, water monitoring and agricultural automation, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. In GrowGuard, a deviation can become an alert: low pressure, water loss, empty tank, blocked valve or uneven watering. Decisions no longer depend only on manual checks. Relevant parameters and capabilities: LoRaWAN, Level / distance. Technical description in short: Dragino MDS120-LB-EU868 uses Microwave Radar to detect the distance between sensor and different objects. Microwave Radar is more reliable for condensation / dusty environment. It can sense correct distance even there is water or think dust on top of the sensor. It can be applied to scenarios such as horizontal distance measurement, parking management system, object proximity and presence detection, intelligent. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
