Dragino MDS200-LB-EU868 LoRaWAN Microwave Radar Distance Sensor is a GrowGuard-compatible component for monitoring with a sensor for smart irrigation, water monitoring and agricultural automation, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. In GrowGuard, a deviation can become an alert: low pressure, water loss, empty tank, blocked valve or uneven watering. Decisions no longer depend only on manual checks. Technical description in short: The Dragino MDS200-LB-EU868 is a robust LoRaWAN Microwave Radar Distance Sensor designed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. Utilizing 24GHz microwave technology, it accurately measures distances between the sensor and objects, offering superior performance in condensation and dusty environments compared to ultrasonic or LiDAR methods. This sensor can reliably measure distances even with water or thick dust. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
