Dragino WSC2-Compact-NS-GE, solar-powered NB-IoT transmitter for weather stations, without SIM card is a GrowGuard-compatible component for monitoring with a sensor for soil moisture, pH, EC and irrigation decisions in precision agriculture, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. In GrowGuard, these readings can be tracked historically and converted into alerts for irrigation, salt build-up, unsuitable pH or differences between zones in the same crop. Technical description in short: The Dragino WSC2-Compact-NS is the NB-IoT variant of the self-sufficient weather station transmitter WSC2-Compact: a solar panel and a 3000 mAh Li-ion battery are integrated, so an external power supply is not required. It reads the 3-in-1 climate sensor DR-THP-6P, the light sensor DR-IL-6P, and the tipping bucket rain gauge DR-RG-6P, transmitting the measured values directly to an IoT server via the mobile network. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
