The right gateway affects coverage, stability and the number of devices that can send data reliably. In GrowGuard projects it becomes the central point for readings, alerts and zone monitoring. Technical description in short: The RAK7268 WisGate Edge Lite 2 with LTE is an 8-channel LoRaWAN gateway specifically designed for small to medium-sized industrial and IoT applications. Features: Full LoRaWAN stack support (v1.0.3) with the Semtech SX1302 chipset, providing improved performance and efficiency for LoRaWAN networks. Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), ideal for installations that require flexible mounting without separate power. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
