The right gateway affects coverage, stability and the number of devices that can send data reliably. In GrowGuard projects it becomes the central point for readings, alerts and zone monitoring. Technical description in short: The RAK7289V2 WisGate Edge Pro (8-channel version) is a high-performance outdoor LoRaWAN gateway for industrial IoT applications. Features: 8-channel LoRaWAN support with the Semtech SX1303 LoRa core, which provides improved sensitivity and performance for long-term, low-power IoT networks. IP67 certified housing that is waterproof and dustproof, ideal for harsh outdoor environments. Power over Ethernet (PoE). In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
