Dragino WSC2-N-GE, NB-IoT Transmitter for Weather Stations, without SIM Card is a GrowGuard-compatible component for monitoring with a sensor for smart irrigation, water monitoring and agricultural automation, built for farms that want decisions based on measured data, not only visual checks. In GrowGuard, a deviation can become an alert: low pressure, water loss, empty tank, blocked valve or uneven watering. Decisions no longer depend only on manual checks. Technical description in short: The Dragino WSC2-N is the NB-IoT version of the WSC2 weather station transmitter: it reads connected weather sensors via RS485 and pulse input and transmits the measured values directly to an IoT server via the cellular network. This eliminates the need for a dedicated LoRaWAN gateway; the only requirement is NB-IoT network coverage at the location. It supports all sensors in the Dragino WSS series as well as. In GrowGuard packages, the product can be delivered with alert threshold setup, sensor placement by zone, farm dashboards and consultancy for choosing the right parameters for greenhouses, vegetable crops, flowers, orchards, vineyards or other horticultural projects.
